Zhalel advises investors, financial institutions and quasi-public-sector companies on the implementation of major investment projects in Kazakhstan. His professional experience exceeds 15 years.

He specialises in structuring project-finance transactions, EPC contracts and joint ventures, as well as asset acquisitions. He supports projects at every stage: from choosing the structure and conducting due diligence to preparing documentation, raising finance and delivery.

Zhalel knows investment projects from the inside. He has many years of experience supporting major infrastructure and industrial projects in energy, oil refining, transport and logistics.

Having worked on projects on the side of the lender and of the public and private partner, Zhalel has seen transactions from different positions. This experience lets him go beyond the individual legal task, understand the commercial logic of a project and take into account the interests of all its key participants.
