The partners of AG SEVENS have significant practical experience in banking and finance, including complex investment and infrastructure projects and projects involving state and quasi-state institutions.
Dauren Madiyev and Zhalel Imashev previously held senior positions in the legal division of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. Dauren Madiyev was responsible for the legal side of raising finance on international capital markets, including the issue of debt instruments and liaison with international investors. Zhalel Imashev oversaw legal matters relating to project finance and lending to borrowers, including the structuring of transactions and support for credit projects.
This experience allows us to understand in depth both how finance is raised and how it is subsequently used, including the requirements of lenders, investors and regulators.
